Resurrection Sunday: Raised up with Him.

God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus – Ephesians 2:6 We’ve been raised up together with Christ and we’re now seated in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. That means we’re seated on the throne of God with the Lord Jesus Christ presently. Colossians 1:13 says, ‘For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves.’ We have been delivered out of the kingdom of darkness and brought into the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ. We’re therefore no longer subject to the bondage of Satan and his demons.

Be it sin, sickness, disease, poverty, divorce, depression, demonization and even death itself. The resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ has separated us from all the destruction of the death. When we were raised up together with Christ, we left them all in the grave. We’re therefore no longer subject to them. Ephesians 1:19-22 says, ‘That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church.

By being seated with Christ on the throne of God, we’re no longer subject to the devil and his kingdom, if anything, they’re now subject to us. We’re seated far above all rule and authority, power and dominion and every name that can be name, in this age the age to come. We’ve been made superior to the devil in every way. Because of His resurrection from the dead, the Lord Jesus Christ has all authority. At his name, every knee should bow; of things in heaven, on earth and under the earth; and every tongue must confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. When we use that name, all that is dead in our lives must come back to life. Death can no longer hold us. Glory to God!

CONFESSION:

I’ve been raised up together with Christ and I am seated in heavenly places at the right hand of the Father; far above all rule, all power, all dominion, and every name that can be named, in this age and the age to come. Glory to God!
