Moreover, I will give you what you have not asked for—both wealth and honor—so that in your lifetime you will have no equal among kings – 1 Kings 3:13
When God appeared to Solomon in a dream, He had him ask for whatever he wanted. Instead of asking for wealth, long life or the lives of his enemies, Solomon asked for wisdom. God was pleased with the young King’s answer and gave him not only wisdom, but also wealth, honour and long life. Solomon went on to become the richest man who ever lived.
But what was the secret of Solomon’s wealth? When God gave him wisdom, He didn’t just give him discernment to rule over Israel. Solomon was wise in all matters, this is evidenced in his Proverbs. Read them for yourself and you’ll see his depth of insight about wealth creation. The source of Solomon’s wealth was therefore wisdom.
You don’t have a poverty problem, nobody does. You have a wisdom problem. We could give a poor man all the money in the world, but because of lack of wisdom, he’ll lose it all sooner or later. You don’t need money, you need wisdom to acquire, keep, grow and distribute wealth. Wisdom is the Power to get wealth. That’s why it’s so important to spend time in the Lord’s Bedchamber as His Bride in Intimacy with Him. This is where He shares Secrets with those who pursue Him. Intimacy with the Lord is part of our Priestly Ministry before Him.
To rule over money, you need spiritual insight from the Lord. There are levels of prosperity you can’t reach with your degree. Education is vitally important, but the Lord wants to show you more. Allow the Lord to speak to you and show you how you can conquer a whole sector of the economy. Let Him open your eyes to hidden economic opportunities and watch Him grow you into a financial giant like King Solomon. Seek Him first, and He’ll add everything else to you.
Father in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray for an intimate Relationship with You that I can know your ways. Deposit in my Spirit the wisdom to unlock wealth so that Your Kingdom may benefit thereby. Amen.
