Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory – Romans 8:17
Through the Last Will and Testament of the Lord Jesus Christ, all things have been willed to us. We’re now Heirs of God and Joint-Heirs with Christ. Hebrews 1:2 says, ‘Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.’ The Lord Jesus Christ has been appointed Heir of all things by God the Father. That means, all things belong to Him. The Father has made us Joint-Heirs with Christ. That means, what belongs to the Lord, belongs to us.
1 Corinthians 3:21 says, ‘So then, no more boasting about human leaders! All things are yours.’ All things are ours. That’s true for this world and the World to come. However, to have access to our Inheritance and enjoy it, we must suffer with Christ. For us to enjoy His Glory, we must suffer with Him. We must deny ourselves, take up our Cross and follow the Lord Jesus Christ. We must conquer Tests, Trials, Tribulations, Temptations and Persecutions. The more we conquer, the more we mature and the more access we’re given to our Inheritance.
First the Sufferings and then the Glory. No Suffering, no Glory. It’s only those who repent of their sin, obey, fast, pray, give, humble themselves, live a holy life and walk in Righteousness who can make progress towards the fulness of their Inheritance. These are Kingdom Principles and there’s no way around them. The flesh hates them, and the more it suffers and it’s subdued, the more you can walk in your Inheritance in every area of your life. You’ll never walk in Dominion in your marriage until you submit to your husband or love your wife. You’ll never walk in financial favour until you start tithing and giving. Dominion in all things is tied directly to the Sufferings of Christ. The Sufferings of Christ will deliver to you your Inheritance in this world and the World to come. Are you walking in defeat? Crucify the flesh and you’ll be shocked at the amount of Victory the Lord will give you. Glory to God!
COFESSION
I suffer with Christ so that I may reign with Him in this life and the Life to come. I subdue my flesh so that my Spirit may rise up in Dominion and rule over all undesirable situations. Glory to God!
